The Thread That’s Always Been There
I’ve always known I loved computers. As far as age 8, I was the go-to person whenever someone had a tech issue — fixing things, clicking around to find solutions, just figuring stuff out. So, I knew I wanted to work in tech. But when I had to choose a course , I hit a wall: Computer Science required math and math wasn’t my thing. I studied International Relations instead.

In 2020, I started learning to code, but it never clicked. Then I stumbled on a design case study -and that was it. I discovered I could design digital experiences without needing to code. I could solve real problems in a way that felt natural to me.

That led me down the path of UI/UX design. It brought together everything I loved: technology, creativity, and empathy. Looking back, it made sense. As a Child, I used to hand-make cards, doodle, collect stickers and color with glitter pens — I just hadn’t connected the dots.

After some self-learning, I got a design scholarship and it all clicked. It didn’t feel new, just right. I’d found my place.

Slice of Life beyond the Pixels
Beyond my professional journey, I embrace the little joys in life. Pancake mornings, reading, matcha, quiet evenings, and the comfort of my own home are among my favourite things. I find peace in structure, especially by planning my days in my digital journal.
I also love to teach. I’ve had the honour of teaching UI/UX design to over 300+ university students. I’ve found that helping others discover their passion for design is just as fulfilling as designing itself. I aim to create a supportive space for students to grow, just as I did when I started out — one step at a time.
